Year 10 Experience University Life at UEL Docklands
In April, a group of our Year 10 students had the exciting opportunity to visit the University of East London’s Docklands Campus for a University Taster Day.
During the visit, students were introduced to UEL's wide range of courses, including degree apprenticeships, and learned about the many benefits of pursuing higher education.
The day included an immersive campus tour and interactive taster lectures in Sports Therapy and Psychology, giving students a first-hand experience of university-level learning. It was an inspiring and informative day for all involved.
What students said...
“I liked that they gave examples that helped my understanding towards making my future decisions."
“It informed me about the opportunities near to where I live, and about things to do with university that I didn’t know before."
“I liked that it was really interactive and informative."
“The taster sessions and tour showed me the experiences I could have at university."
Our UEL hosts provided glowing feedback, praising the students for their respectfulness, engagement, and thoughtful questions. We are proud of how well our students represented the school, and we extend our gratitude to UEL for making this invaluable experience possible.
