3D Art Workshop with Artist Grace Du Prez
A small group of 10 students worked with the artist Grace Du Prez recently to explore the technique of 3D drawing. Students used special heated pens to draw using melted plastic – creating a variety of 3D shapes that can be used in their coursework portfolios.
Two of the students in the group, Tyra and Emily, won a Jack Petchy award and chose to spend their reward on an artist workshop exploring this new technology. The students had tremendous fun creating these objects and learnt a new skill to help strengthen their portfolio.
