Our Antarctic Flags Reach Penguin Colony
Special antarctic flags made by HAR students have made their way to a British Antarctic Survey research station on Bird Island, South Georgia.
Our students have been learning about the antarctic and making flags as part of the project, which were then taken to the antarctic as part of a University of Sheffield project. We've just received these pictures of the penguins admiring the students' artwork.
"We have been really impressed with the quality and thought that has gone into the flags," said Emma Lewington of the Department of Geography at the university.
