HAR Young Artist of the Year
Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 were invited to enter a piece of artwork into the Harris Academy Rainham Young Artist of the Year competition.
The theme was open and students could work in any media of their choice. We had a wonderful response and Mr Stananought was delighted to choose the winners – although found it very difficult as there was so much talent displayed in the entries.
Here are the winners of our Harris Academy Rainham Young Artist of the Year competition:
Daniel – Tonal dog
Erin – Yellow portrait
Angela – Cat dreams
Scarlett – Stories of my mind (acrylic painting on book pages)
Lily – Ivory poaching
All were entered into the Frys Gallery competition held at Fairkytes Arts Centre. Scarlett has actually won a trophy which she has been invited to collect at a ceremony on Saturday morning.
All other entries for the competition are on display in reception until the end of term.
