Year 10 Drop Down Day - “Ready To Work”
We held our first ever “Ready to work” drop down day for Year 10 students.
During this day, students were off timetable and had a series of workshops and sessions, including CV-writing, interview skills, money skills, communication and teamwork workshop and a formal mock interview.
Students were encouraged to wear professional dress (see below) and we really loved seeing how involved the students got in the sessions, especially the mock interviews.
Students commented on how useful the day was and how it has helped them think on their feet, pay attention to the finer detail and that they now feel more prepared for the world of work as a result of today.
