Alumni Return To Guide Current Years 9s

Alumni1On Friday, we welcomed seven of our alumni back to Harris Academy Rainham to speak to our Year 9 students about their careers and pathways since leaving school. The event was planned in conjunction with our alumni partners, Future First. 

It was our pleasure to welcome back our alumni, who are all either working in industries such as finance, marketing, law and sport coaching, or still in full-time education at some prestigious Russell Group universities such as Oxford and Warwick. 

Our Year 9s had a wonderful day meeting and getting to spend some time with our alumni. Our students got to ask them a variety of questions such as:

  • What they do?
  • How they got to that position?
  • What did they do when they left HAR?
  • What was school like for them?

This experience was invaluable for our students as they got to spend time with people who were once in their shoes.
