Careers - Year 10 Mentored By City Companies

Over the past four weeks, 20 Year 10 students have been working with education charity Future Frontiers to help develop their aspirations, increase their knowledge of post-16 careers destinations and work with business professionals from across different sectors. 

The programme has been highly engaging as the students got to work with two different Fenchurch Street-based companies, Crawford & Co and Blenheim Underwriting.

Students were mentored by business professionals across all four sessions, where they looked in-detail at their next steps and the possible routes into these chosen careers.

The final session in Year 10 resulted in a careers chat with a professional in their chosen sector. Students also got to meet the CEOs of both companies.

Future Frontiers will continue to work with these students in Year 11 and both Ms Vella and Mr Leslie are extremely proud of their levels of engagement during the course. The relationships they have built with the business professionals have been remarkable to see.
