    Year 7 Trip to Castlehead Cumbria - April 2020

    Year 7 Residential Trip to Cumbria

    A residential trip has been arranged for the Year 7 Students at Harris Academy Rainham to attend  Castle Head Outdoor Pursuits Centre in Cumbria from (Week A) Tuesday 24th - Friday 27th March 2020 or (Week B) Saturday 28th – Tuesday 31st  March 2020.  The focus of this trip is to give the students an experience that will help them learn how to work as a team and build self-confidence.

    This is a residential trip and will require your son/daughter to spend time staying away from home. Students are expected to behave appropriately at all times and remain on their best behaviour for the duration of the trip. Students will also take part in many physical activities during the trip, therefore appropriate clothing will be required. Details of the centre can be found at www.field-studies-council.org/castlehead

    The cost of the trip is £365, which covers travel, full board, activities and evening entertainment. This can be paid by monthly instalments via parent pay if you wish. Final payment is due Friday 31st January 2020.

    If you would like your son/ daughter to attend you need to complete the slip at the bottom of the letter sent home with your child indicating your preferred week, and return to  our Finance Office, once you have made the non-refundable deposit of £100, by Friday 11th October 2019. It will be impossible for your son/daughter to attend without these forms being returned by the above date.
