Future Frontiers Careers Coaching Programme for Year 10
Every Tuesday in June, Year 10 students travelled to creative agency FCB Inferno in Covent Garden to meet professional careers coaches for two-hour sessions.
Our Future Frontiers Careers Coaching Programme gave 20 students weekly sessions at the agency to help them discover a career that inspires them, and build a step-by-step plan of how to get there. Here's what we covered in the four sessions in June.
4 June - Discover. Identification of interests and attributes.
11 June - Explore. Identification of three possible careers pathways.
18 June - Connect. Skype interview with career adviser and professionals in the students' chosen industries.
25 June - Achieve. Skype interview with careers adviser and professionals, followed by a presentation.
To finish the programme, students attended the Careers Networking Event at City University in Angel, London, on 3rd July.
"It was a fantastic programme with all our students valuing the experience and very engaged," said Mr Goldsmith.
