Students Remember Lives Lost in Conflicts
Today we joined the rest of the country in reflecting on the sacrifices made by soldiers and civilians in World War One and all other conflicts.
We held a remembrance ceremony outside with a two minute silence to remember all of those who have lost their lives in any conflict, as well as the animals involved in conflict, those within the armed forces today, civilians and families of those who have served.
All students showed impeccable behaviour and respect throughout the ceremony. Thank you to all the students that gave up their free time this week to sell poppies, as well as to the art students that helped make our wreath.
Our Head Boy and Head Girl proudly held the wreath throughout the ceremony and will be representing HAR at Rainham's remembrance service this Sunday.
