Year 10 Learn About Careers in Nursing

Nursing1On Friday 2nd July, 30 Year 10 students were selected to take part in a careers event that looked at careers in nursing and other fields of the NHS.

The event was facilitated by Talent Foundry and seven different nurses from a variety of different roles dialled into the session to explain their roles within the NHS and to answer any questions that students had.

Students found the session ‘informative’, ‘insightful’ and ‘sparked a real interest’ in the industry.

What students said...

I found out things about nursing that I didn’t know before. It was interesting and very insightful." Krisztofer. Year 10

"It was insightful and I enjoyed learning about the diversity of nursing and the range of job opportunities you have from nursing. The types of skills you need also interest me." Sofia, Year 10
