HAR Awarded Geography Quality Mark

SGQM logo green 2020 23Harris Academy Rainham has been re-awarded the Secondary Geography Quality Mark, presented by The Geographical Association.

Geography Quality Marks are prestigious awards which recognise and promote quality and progress in geography leadership, curriculum development and learning and teaching in schools.

Making the award, The Geographical Association said: "Throughout the submission, it was obvious that this is a very innovative and energised geography department which is a huge asset to the Academy and to the students in your care."

Ms Blake said: "The Geography department at HAR is incredibly proud of how our students have embraced their learning in Geography and how they continually encourage us to find ways to improve the experience we offer."
